பிரபல திரைப்பட விமர்சகர் புளூசட்டை மாறன் தனது ட்விட்டர் பக்கத்தில், “தமிழ் சினிமாவில் கௌதம் என்ற பெயரில் அறிமுகமாகி பிறகு உயர்சாதி பெயரான மேனனை இணைத்து கௌதம் மேனன் ஆகியுள்ளார்” என்று மின்னலே படப் போஸ்டரைப் பதிவிட்டுள்ளார். மேலும், ”கௌதம் என்பது உங்களது பெயர், மேனன் என்பது நீங்கள் படிச்சு வாங்குன பட்டமா..?” எனக் கடுமையாகவும் தாக்கியுள்ளார்.
இயக்குநர் கௌதம் மேனன் இயக்கத்தில் நடிகர் சிலம்பரசன் நடிப்பில் கடந்த வாரம் வெளியான ‘வெந்து தணிந்தது காடு’ திரைப்படம் ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியில் நல்ல வரவேற்பை பெற்று வருகிறது. இந்நிலையில், பிரபல யூடியூப் விமர்சகர் ’ப்ளூ சட்டை’ மாறன் இந்தப் படத்தை அவரது வழக்கமான பாணியில் கடுமையாக விமர்சித்தார்.
