கிழக்கு லடாக் பகுதியின் கல்வான் பள்ளத்தாக்கத்தில் இந்திய- சீன ராணுவ வீரர்களுக்கு இடையே நடந்த கடுமையான தாக்குதலில் இந்திய வீரர்கள் 20 பேர் கொல்லப்பட்டனர். இச்சம்பவம் குறித்து பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி அரசு மௌனம் சாதித்ததைக் கண்டித்து காங்கிரஸ் பொதுச்செயலாளர் பிரியங்கா காந்தி ட்வீட் செய்துள்ளார்.
இதுதொடர்பாக அவர் தனது ட்விட்டர் பக்கத்தில், “நமது நாட்டு மக்களை அச்சுறுத்தும் வகையில், நமது வீரர்கள் கொல்லப்பட்டதிற்கு ஆளும் பாஜக அரசு மௌனம் காப்பது ஏன்? இந்தியா உண்மைக்குத் தகுதியான ஒரு நாடு. அதன் நிலத்தின் மீது உரிமை கொண்டாடுவதற்கு முன்பு, அதனை முறியடிக்க எதையும் செய்யத் தயாராக இருக்கும் தலைமைக்குத் தகுதியான நாடு இந்தியா. நாம் சீனாவிற்கு எதிராக நிற்க வேண்டிய நேரம் இது” என்று காட்டமாகத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
