பல்வேறு காரணங்களால் மகாராஷ்டிரா, ஹரியானா, பிகார், ஒடிசா, உத்தரபிரதேசம் மற்றும் தெலங்கானா ஆகிய மாநிலங்களில் காலியான 7 சட்டமன்ற தொகுதிகளின் இடைத்தேர்தலுக்கான வாக்குப்பதிவு இன்று (நவ 3) காலை 7 மணிக்கு தொடங்கி மாலை 6 மணி வரை நடைபெறுகிறது.

இதில் தெலங்கானாவில் கோமதி ரெட்டி ராஜகோபால் ரெட்டி என்பவர் பதவியை ராஜினாமா செய்ததால் தற்போது முனுகோடு தொகுதியில் இடைத்தேர்தல் நடைபெறுகிறது. அதேபோல் அடம்பூர் தொகுதி எம்எல்ஏ குல்தீப் பிஷ்னோய் பதவியை ராஜினாமா செய்தார்.
