டெல்லி ஃபெரோஷா கோட்லா மைதானத்தில் அருண் ஜெட்லி சிலை திறப்பு!

டெல்லி ஃபெரோஷா கோட்லா மைதானத்தில் அருண் ஜெட்லி சிலையை அமித் ஷா திறந்துவைத்தார்.

டெல்லி: மறைந்த மத்திய நிதி அமைச்சரின் 68ஆவது பிறந்த நாளை முன்னிட்டு மத்திய உள்துறை அமைச்சர் அமித் ஷா திங்களன்று (டிச.28) ஃபெரோஷா கோட்லா மைதானத்தில் அருண் ஜெட்லியின் சிலையை திறந்து அஞ்சலி செலுத்தினார்.

மறைந்த மத்திய நிதி அமைச்சரின் 68ஆவது பிறந்த நாளை முன்னிட்டு, டெல்லி ஃபெரோஷா கோட்லா மைதானத்தில் அருண் ஜெட்லி சிலை திறப்பு விழா இன்று நடந்தது.

இந்நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு டெல்லி மாவட்ட கிரிக்கெட் சங்கம் (டி.டி.சி.ஏ) ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்தது. இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்துகொண்ட அமித் ஷா, மறைந்த நிதியமைச்சர் அருண் ஜெட்லியின் திருவுருவ சிலையை திறந்துவைத்தார்.

பின்னர் உரையாற்றிய அமித் ஷா, “கடந்த சில வரலாற்று கிரிக்கெட் தருணங்களை கண்ட ஃபெரோஷா கோட்லா ஸ்டேடியத்தில் நான் இங்கு வந்துள்ளேன் என்பது மிகுந்த மரியாதை மற்றும் மகிழ்ச்சி அளிக்கிறது” என்றார்.

அருண் ஜெட்லி, கிரிக்கெட் நிர்வாகத்திலிருந்து விலகுவதற்கு முன்பு, 1999 முதல் 2013 வரை 14 ஆண்டுகள் டி.டி.சி.ஏ தலைவராக ஜெட்லி இருந்தார். அவரின் நினைவை போற்றும் விதமாக கிரிக்கெட் நிர்வாகம் அவருக்கு 6 அடி உயர சிலையை நிறுவியுள்ளது.
