ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼ੀਲਾ ਦੀਕਸ਼ਿਤ ਦਾ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ੀਲਾ ਦੀਕਸ਼ਿਤ ਨੇ 81 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖ਼ਰੀ ਸਾਹ ਲਏ।

ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਦਿੱਗਜ਼ ਨੇਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼ੀਲਾ ਦੀਕਸ਼ਿਤ ਦਾ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ੀਲਾ ਦੀਕਸ਼ਿਤ 3 ਵਾਰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਹਿ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਹ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵੀ ਸੀ।

ਸ਼ੀਲਾ ਦੀਕਸ਼ਿਤ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 1938 ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 81 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖ਼ਰੀ ਸਾਹ ਲਏ। ਸ਼ੀਲਾ ਦੀਕਸ਼ਿਤ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਲ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਪੈਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਐਸਕਾਰਟ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਤੀ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ

ਸ਼ੀਲਾ ਦੀਕਸ਼ਿਤ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 31 ਮਾਰਚ 1938 ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਨਵੈਂਟ ਆੱਫ਼ ਜੀਸਸ ਐਂਡ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਤੋਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਮਿਰਾਂਡਾ ਹਾਊਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਤੋਂ ਐੱਮਏ ਦੀ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸ਼ੀਲਾ ਦੀਕਸ਼ਿਤ 1984 ਤੋਂ 1989 ਤੱਕ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕਨੌਜ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਐੱਮਪੀ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਦੀ ਐਸਟੀਮੇਟਸ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਵੀ ਰਹੇ।

ਸ਼ੀਲਾ ਦੀਕਸ਼ਿਤ ਦਾ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਦਰਸ਼ਨਾ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਾਮ 6 ਵਜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਦੁਪਿਹਰ 2.30 ਵਜੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਨਿਗਮਬੋਧ ਘਾਟ ਤੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸਸਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
