ହାଇଦ୍ରାବାଦ: ଟୋକିଓ ଅଲମ୍ପିକର ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିନରେ ଭାରତ ପାଇଁ ଗର୍ବ ଓ ଗୋରବ ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି ମଣିପୁରୀ ଝିଅ ମୀରାବାଇ ଚାନୁ । ୪୯ କିଗ୍ରା ଭାରୋତ୍ତଳନ ବର୍ଗରେ ରୌପ୍ୟ ଜିତି ସାରା ଦେଶ ପାଇଁ ଗର୍ବ ଆଣିଛନ୍ତି ୨୬ ବର୍ଷୀୟ ମୀରା । ତେବେ ମୀରାଙ୍କର ଏହି ସଫଳତା ପାଇଁ ତାଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଛୁଟିଛି ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛାର ସୁଅ ।
ମୀରାବାଇଙ୍କ ପରିବାର, ତାଙ୍କ କୋଚ, ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି, ଉପରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି, ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ସିନେ ତାରକାଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି କ୍ରିକେଟର ସମସ୍ତେ ମୀରାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶଂସାରେ ଶତମୁଖ ।
ମୀରାଙ୍କ ମା ଝିଅ ପାଇଁ ଖୁବ ଗର୍ବିତ । ସେ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ‘‘ଆମେ ଖୁସି ଯେ ସେ ଟୋକିଓ ଅଲମ୍ପିକରେ ଭାରତ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଥମ ପଦକ ଜିତିଛି । ଆମେ ତା ଠାରୁ ସ୍ବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପଦକ ଆଶା କରିଥିଲୁ କିନ୍ତୁ ରୌପ୍ୟରେ ବି ଆମେ ବେଶ୍ ଖୁସି । ସେ ଆମ ସହ ସାରା ଦେଶକୁ ଗର୍ବିତ କରିଛି ।’’
ମୀରାଙ୍କ ଭାଇ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ‘‘ଆମେ ବହୁତ ଖୁସି ଅଛୁ । ଏହା ତାଙ୍କ କଠିନ ପରିଶ୍ରମର ଫଳ । ଭାରତ ଓ ମଣିପୁର ଆଜି ତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଗର୍ବିତ ।’’
ମୀରାବାଇଙ୍କ କୋଚ ବିଜୟ ଶର୍ମା ମଧ୍ୟ ଖୁସି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତ କରି କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ‘‘ରିଓ ଅଲମ୍ପିକର ପରାଜୟ ଆଜି ଆମକୁ ଏଠାରେ ଆଣି ପହଁଞ୍ଚାଇଛି । କୋଚଙ୍କ ଭୂମିକା ଗୁରୁତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦି ଖେଳାଳି ଅନୁଶାସିତ ନଥାଏ ତେବେ କୋଚ ମଧ୍ୟ କିଛି କରି ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ । ମୁଁ କହିବି ଯେ ଏହି ବିଜୟରେ ମୀରାବାଇଙ୍କ ଭୂମିକା ହିଁ ବେଶ୍ ଗୁରୁତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଥିଲା କାରଣ ସେ ଖୁବ ପରିଶ୍ରମୀ ଯାହା ଫଳରେ ସେ ଏହି ରୌପ୍ୟ ପଦକ ଜିତିବାରେ ସଫଳ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ।’’
‘‘ଆମେ ଆହୁରି ଭଲ କରିପାରିଥାନ୍ତୁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମେ ରୌପ୍ୟ ପଦକରେ ବି ଖୁବ୍ ଖୁସି । ମୀରାବାଇ ମତେ କହିଲେ ଯେ ଆମର ଅଲମ୍ପିକ ପଦକ ଜିତିବାର ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ସାକାର ହୋଇଛି’’ ବୋଲି ଶର୍ମା କହିଛନ୍ତି ।
ସେପଟେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଆଇନ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ତଥା ପୂର୍ବତନ କ୍ରୀଡ଼ାମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କିରଣ ରିଜିଜୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଚାନୁଙ୍କୁ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା ଜଣାଇଛନ୍ତି । ‘‘ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିନରେ ପଦକ ଜିତିବା ବହୁତ ଖାସ ହୋଇଥାଏ କାରଣ ଏହା ଟୋନ ସେଟ୍ କରିଥାଏ । ଆମେ ମୀରାଙ୍କୁ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା ଦେବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁ । ସେ ଟୋକିଓ ଅଲମ୍ପିକ୍ସରେ ପଦକ ଜିତିବେ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରତିଶୃତି ଦେଇଥିଲେ । ଏହା ଗୌରବର କଥା ଏବଂ ଆମେ ଭାରତର ଝିଅ ପାଇଁ ଆମେ ଗର୍ବିତ ।’’
