वीरु हे सुप्रसिद्ध कथ्थक गुरु होते. कॅटरिना कैफ, प्रियांका चोप्रा, लारा दत्ता, अथिया शेट्टी यांसारख्या अभिनेत्रींना त्यांनी नृत्य शिकवले आहे.

मुंबई - अभिनेता तसेच कथ्थक गुरु असलेले वीरु कृष्णनन यांचे ७ सप्टेंबरला निधन झाले. त्यांच्या निधनाचे वृत्त कळताच बॉलिवूड कलाकारांनी त्यांना श्रद्धांजली वाहिली आहे. सुनील शेट्टीची मुलगी अथिया शेट्टीने तिच्या ट्विटवर अकाऊंटवरुन वीरु यांच्या निधनाची माहिती दिली होती.
