मुंबई - बॉलिवूडचा खिलाडी अक्षय कुमार गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून सत्य घटनांवर आधारित सिनेमांतून प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येत आहे. त्याचा मागील वर्षी प्रदर्शित झालेला 'केसरी' हा सिनेमादेखील सारागढीच्या लढाईची सत्य कथा दाखवणारा होता. या सिनेमाला प्रेक्षकांचा तुफान प्रतिसाद मिळाला.
याच सारागढीच्या लढाईला आज १२२ वर्ष पूर्ण झाली आहेत. याच निमित्ताने सारागढीच्या युद्धातील अतुलनीय शौर्याची गाथा सांगत अक्षयनं सोशल मीडियावर एक पोस्ट शेअर केली आहे. १० हजार शत्रूंसोबत लढलेल्या त्या ३६ शीख रेजिमेंटच्या शूर सैन्याला माझ्याकडून श्रद्धांजली. एक असा त्याग जो कायमस्वरुपी इतिहासाच्या पानांमध्ये आणि आपल्या सर्वांच्या हृदयात कोरला गेला, असं अक्षयनं आपल्या पोस्टमध्ये म्हटलं आहे.

दरम्यान, चित्रपटांबद्दल बोलायचं झाल्यास हे वर्ष अक्षयसाठी अगदीचं खास ठरलं आहे. नुकतंच प्रदर्शित झालेल्या त्याच्या मिशन मंगल सिनेमाला तुफान यश मिळालं आहे. तर लवकरच तो लक्ष्मी बॉम्ब, हाऊसफुल्ल ४, गुड न्यूज आणि पृथ्वीराज या सिनेमांतून प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येणार आहे.
