'काश्मीर हे भारताचे अविभाज्य अंग होते, आहे, अन् राहणार'

परराष्ट्र मंत्रालयाचे सचिव विकास स्वरूप यांनी संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवी हक्क परिषदेत भारताची बाजू मांडत पाकिस्तानवर निशाणा साधला. तसेच काश्मीर हे भारताचे अविभाज्य अंग होते, आहे, अन् राहणार, असेही स्वरुप म्हणाले.

जिनेव्हा - पाकिस्तानने जम्मू काश्मीर प्रकरणी हस्तक्षेप करण्याची मागणी संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानव हक्क समितीकडे केली होती. त्यावर परराष्ट्र मंत्रालयाचे सचिव विकास स्वरूप यांनी संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानवी हक्क परिषदेत भारताची बाजू मांडत पाकिस्तानवर निशाणा साधला. तसेच काश्मीर हे भारताचे अविभाज्य अंग होते, आहे, अन् राहणार, असेही स्वरुप म्हणाले.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानव हक्क परिषदेमध्ये 24 फेब्रुवरी ते 20 मार्चपर्यंत 43 व्या सत्राचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. यावेळी जम्मू काश्मीर हे भारतचे अंतर्गत प्रकरण असल्याचे विकास स्वरूप म्हणाले. तसेच त्यांनी दहशतवादाला पाठपुरवठा करणाऱ्या देशांवर कारवाई करण्याची विनंती संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानव हक्क परिषदेकडे केली.

पाकिस्तान हा जगातील दहशतवादाचा केंद्रबिंदू असल्याचेही ते म्हणाले. दरम्यान काश्मीरमध्ये मानवधिकारचे उल्लघंन होत आहे, अशी तक्रार मंगळवारी पाकिस्तानी मंत्री शिरीन मजारी यांनी संयुक्त राष्ट्र मानव हक्क परिषदेमध्ये केली होती.

संयुक्त राष्ट्रे मानवी हक्क समिती ही संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघाची एक समिती आहे. ही समिती जगभर मानवी हक्कांची पायमल्ली थांबवण्याचा प्रयत्न करते. २००६ साली स्थापन झालेल्या ह्या समितीच्या कामावर अनेक वेळा टीका झाली आहे.
