लॉस एंजेलिस: 60 आणि 70 च्या दशकातील आर.अ‍ॅड.बी हिट्सची प्रदीर्घ रान करणारी आणि 80 च्या दशकात प्रमुख पॉप स्टारडम गाजवणारी सोलफुल दिवा टीना टर्नर हिचे बुधवारी स्वित्झर्लंडमध्ये निधन झाले आहे. ही बातमी व्हरायटी वृत्तात आली आहे. तसेच या गायकीचे वय हे ८३ वर्षाचे होते. 'रॉक 'एन' रोलची राणी टीना टर्नर यांचे आज वयाच्या ८३ व्या वर्षी स्वित्झर्लंडमधील झुरिचजवळील कुस्नाच्त येथे त्यांच्या घरी दीर्घकाळ असणाऱ्या आजाराने निधन झाले. यासोबत जगाने आज एक संगीत दिग्गज गमावले आहे. व्हरायटीला दिलेल्या निवेदनात म्हटले आहे की, प्राऊड मेरीला पती आयकेसोबत क्रॉसओवर मारल्यानंतर एक दशकाहून अधिक काळ, टीना टर्नर 1984च्या कॅपिटल रेकॉर्ड अल्बम प्रायव्हेट डान्सरसह पॉप प्रसिद्धीच्या शिखरावर त्या पोहोचल्या होत्या.
