नवी दिल्ली - राजधानी दिल्लीत कोरोना मृत्यूदर कमी झाला आहे. मृत्यूचा चढता आलेख रोखण्यात सरकारला यश आले असल्याचा दावा दिल्लीचे मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल यांनी केला आहे. जून महिन्यात मृत्यूदर ४४ टक्क्यांनी कमी झाला असून मृत्यूदर शून्यावर आणण्याचे आमचे ध्येय असल्याचेही त्यांनी सांगितले.

'कोरोना संकटाच्या सुरुवातीपासूनच हे माझे ध्येय होते की, कोरोनामुळे होणाऱ्या मृत्यूचा दर कमी व्हावा. त्यानुसार जून महिन्यात ४४ टक्क्यांनी हा दर कमी झाला. हा आकडा शून्यावर आणायचे असल्याचेही केजरीवाल यांनी टि्वट करत सांगितले.
दरम्यान, गेल्या २४ तासांत देशात 49 हजार 931 नव्या कोरोना रुग्णांची नोंद झाली. त्यामुळे एकूण कोरोनाबाधितांची संख्या 14 लाख 35 हजार 453 वर पोहोचली आहे. तसेच आतापर्यंत देशभरात 32 हजार 771 जणांचा कोरोनामुळे मृत्यू झाला आहे. सकारात्मक बाब म्हणजे आतापर्यंत 9 लाख 17 हजार 568 रुग्ण कोरोनामुक्त झाले आहेत, अशी माहिती आरोग्य मंत्रालयाने जारी केली आहे. कोरोनाबाधितांचा रिकव्हरी दर काही प्रमाणात वाढला आहे. सध्या कोरोना रुग्ण बरे होण्याचा दर ६३.९२ इतका झाला आहे.
