ചാമ്പ്യന്‍ഷിപ്പിലെ അവസാന മൂന്ന് മത്സരങ്ങളിലാകും ഇന്ത്യന്‍ താരം വാര്‍വിക്‌ഷെയറിനായി കളിക്കുക. സെപ്‌റ്റംബര്‍ 12-ന് സോമര്‍സെറ്റിനെതിരായ മത്സരത്തിന് മുന്നോടിയായി സിറാജ് എഡ്‌ജ്ബാസ്റ്റണിലെത്തുമെന്ന് ക്ലബ് അറിയിച്ചു. നിലവിലെ സീസണില്‍ ഒരു കൗണ്ടി ടീം തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ആറാമത്തെ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ താരമാണ് സിറാജ്.

കൗണ്ടി ചാമ്പ്യന്‍ഷിപ്പ് ഡിവിഷന്‍ 1 -ല്‍ ഇതുവരെ കളിച്ച 11 മത്സരങ്ങളില്‍ ഒരു ജയം മാത്രമാണ് വാര്‍വിക്ഷയര്‍ നേടിയത്. പോയിന്‍റ് പട്ടികയില്‍ ഏഴാം സ്ഥാനത്താണ് ടീം. രണ്ടാം ഡിവിഷനിലേക്കുള്ള തരംതാഴ്‌ത്തല്‍ ഒഴിവാക്കാന്‍ ശേഷിക്കുന്ന മത്സരങ്ങളില്‍ ടീമിന് വിജയം അനിവാര്യമാണ്.
