1983ലെ മുന്താണൈ മുടിച്ചുവിന്‍റെ സംവിധായകൻ ഭാഗ്യരാജാണ് പുതിയ ചിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ തിരക്കഥയും സംഭാഷണവും ഒരുക്കുന്നത്. ചിത്രത്തിൽ പരിമളമായി വേഷമിടുന്നത് ഐശ്വര്യ രാജേഷാണ്

മലയാളത്തിന്‍റെ സ്വന്തം ഉർവശി തമിഴകത്തിന്‍റെയും പ്രിയതാരമായി മാറുവാൻ വഴിത്തിരിവായ ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു 'മുന്താണൈ മുടിച്ചു'. 1983ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ചിത്രത്തിൽ ഉർവശിയുടെ പരിമളം താരത്തിന്‍റെ കരിയർ ബസ്റ്റ് കഥാപാത്രം കൂടിയാണ്. 37 വർഷങ്ങൾ ശേഷം തമിഴ് ചിത്രം വീണ്ടുമെത്തുമ്പോൾ പരിമളമായി വേഷമിടുന്നതിന്‍റെ സന്തോഷത്തിലാണ് ഐശ്വര്യ രാജേഷ്. ശശികുമാറിനും ഭാഗ്യരാജിനുമൊപ്പമുള്ള ചിത്രം പങ്കുവെച്ചുകൊണ്ട് മുന്താണൈ മുടിച്ചു അടുത്ത വർഷം റിലീസിനെത്തുമെന്ന് നടി ഐശ്വര്യ തന്നെയാണ് സമൂഹമാധ്യമങ്ങളിലൂടെ അറിയിച്ചത്.
