ഇന്‍റര്‍നാഷണല്‍ ഫിലിം ഫെസ്റ്റിവല്‍ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ 51-ാം പതിപ്പ് അടുത്ത വര്‍ഷം ജനുവരിയില്‍ നടത്തും. ഗോവ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പ്രമോദ് സാവന്തുമായുള്ള ചര്‍ച്ചയ്ക്ക് ശേഷമാണ് ഇക്കാര്യത്തില്‍ തീരുമാനമെടുത്തതെന്ന് വാര്‍ത്താവിതരണ പ്രക്ഷേപണ മന്ത്രി പ്രകാശ് ജാവദേക്കര്‍ അറിയിച്ചു. നവംബര്‍ 20 മുതല്‍ 28 വരെ ഗോവയില്‍ മേള ഗോവയില്‍ നടത്താനായിരുന്നു നേരത്തെ തീരുമാനിച്ചിരുന്നത്. പുതുക്കിയ തിയതി ജനുവരി 16 മുതല്‍ 24 വരെയാണ്. വെര്‍ച്വല്‍, ഹൈബ്രിഡ് ഫോര്‍മാറ്റിലാവും മേള സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുക. കൊവിഡ് രാജ്യത്താകമാനം പിടിമുറുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് ഇത്തരത്തിലൊരു തീരുമാനം. 25-ാം കേരള രാജ്യാന്തര ചലച്ചിത്രമേളയും (ഐഎഫ്‌എഫ്കെ) നീട്ടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഫെബ്രുവരി 12 മുതല്‍ 19 വരെയാണ് മേള നടക്കുകയെന്ന് കേരള ചലച്ചിത്ര അക്കാദമിയും അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു.
