പ്രശസ്ത സംവിധായകൻ ശങ്കറിന്‍റെ പുതിയ ചിത്രത്തില്‍ നായകനായി ബോളിവുഡ് നടൻ രൺവീർ സിംഗ്. സംവിധായകനും രൺവീർ സിംഗും സമൂഹമാധ്യമങ്ങളിലൂടെ പുതിയ സിനിമയുടെ ഔദ്യോഗിക പ്രഖ്യാപനം നടത്തി. എന്നാൽ, സിനിമയുടെ പേര് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടില്ല.
രൺവീർ സിംഗുമായി ചേർന്ന് ശങ്കർ ഒരുക്കുന്ന ബോളിവുഡ് സിനിമ തമിഴിലെ അന്യൻ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ റീമേക്കാണ്. പെൻ സ്റ്റുഡിയോസിന്‍റെ ബാനറിൽ മുതിർന്ന സിനിമാനിർമാതാവ് ജയന്തിലാല്‍ ഗാഡയാണ് ഹിന്ദി ചിത്രം നിർമിക്കുന്നത്.
2005ൽ വിക്രം നായകനായി പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ അന്യൻ ദ്വന്ദ്വവ്യക്തിത്വമുള്ള കഥാനായകനെയാണ് അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. തമിഴിന് പുറമെ മലയാളത്തിലും ചിത്രം വമ്പിച്ച വിജയം നേടിയിരുന്നു.
