ഏറ്റവും ഉയരം കൂടിയ യുദ്ധഭൂമിയായ സിയാച്ചിന്‍ ഹിമാനില്‍ ഇടയ്‌ക്കിടെ ഇന്ത്യ - പാകിസ്ഥാൻ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലുകൾ നടക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലമാണ്

ന്യൂഡൽഹി: യുദ്ധഭൂമിയായ സിയാച്ചിൻ ഹിമാനിലെ കുമാർ പോസ്റ്റിൽ നിയമിതയായ ആദ്യ വനിത ഓഫിസറായി ക്യാപ്റ്റൻ ശിവ ചൗഹാൻ. ഇന്ത്യൻ ആർമിയുടെ ഫയർ ആൻഡ് ഫ്യൂറി ഓഫിസറാണ് ശിവ ചൗഹാൻ. 'ബ്രേക്കിങ് ദി ഗ്ലാസ് സീലിംഗ്' എന്ന അടിക്കുറിപ്പോടെ ഇന്ത്യൻ ആർമിയുടെ ഫയർ ആൻഡ് ഫ്യൂറി കോർപ്‌സിന്‍റെ ഔദ്യോഗിക അക്കൗണ്ടാണ് വിവരം ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്‌തത്.

കഠിനമായ പരിശീലനം നൽകിയ ശേഷമാണ് ചൗഹാന്, കുമാർ പോസ്‌റ്റിൽ നിയമനം നൽകിയത്. 1984 മുതൽ ഇന്ത്യയും പാകിസ്ഥാനും ഇടയ്‌ക്കിടെ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടുന്ന ഭൂമിയിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയരം കൂടിയ യുദ്ധഭൂമിയാണ് സിയാച്ചിൻ ഹിമാനി. 2021 സെപ്‌റ്റംബറിൽ സിയാച്ചിൻ ഹിമാനിൽ 15,632 അടി ഉയരത്തിലുള്ള കുമാർ പോസ്റ്റിലെത്തി എട്ട് പേരടങ്ങുന്ന സംഘം ലോക റെക്കോഡ് സൃഷ്‌ടിച്ചിരുന്നു.
