കൊല്‍ക്കത്ത: രാജ്യത്തെ ഏറ്റവും അഴിമതി കുറഞ്ഞ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലൊന്നാണ് പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി മമത ബാനര്‍ജി. അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര അഴിമതി വിരുദ്ധ ദിനത്തിലാണ് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഇക്കാര്യം അറിയിച്ചത്. ട്രാൻസ്പരൻസി ഇന്‍റർനാഷണൽ ഇന്ത്യയും ലോക്കൽ സർക്കിളുകളും നടത്തിയ ഇന്ത്യ അഴിമതി സർവേ 2019 പ്രകാരം ബംഗാള്‍ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും അഴിമതി കുറഞ്ഞ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലൊന്നായി മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു. എല്ലാവർക്കും ആശംസകളെന്നും മമത ബാനർജി ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു.

248 ജില്ലകളിലായി 1,90,000 പ്രതികരണങ്ങൾ ലഭിച്ച 'ഇന്ത്യ അഴിമതി സർവേ 2019' ല്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ 12 മാസത്തിനുള്ളിൽ 51 ശതമാനം ഇന്ത്യക്കാരും അഴിമതി കാണിച്ചതായാണ് വ്യക്തമാകുന്നത്. ദില്ലി, ഹരിയാന, ഗുജറാത്ത്, പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാൾ, കേരളം, ഗോവ, ഒഡീഷ എന്നീ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളില്‍ അഴിമതി നിരക്ക് കുറവാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ രാജസ്ഥാൻ, ബീഹാർ, ഉത്തർപ്രദേശ്, തെലങ്കാന, കർണാടക, തമിഴ്‌നാട്, ഝാർഖണ്ഡ്, പഞ്ചാബ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ഉയര്‍ന്ന അഴിമതിയാണ് നടന്നിട്ടുള്ളതെന്ന് സര്‍വേ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. അഴിമതിക്കെതിരായ പൊതു അവബോധം വളർത്തുന്നതിനാണ് വർഷം തോറും ഡിസംബർ ഒമ്പത് അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര അഴിമതി വിരുദ്ധ ദിനമായി ആചരിക്കുന്നത്.
