ആന്‍റി റേഡിയേഷൻ മിസൈൽ രുദ്രം-1 വിജയകരമായി പരീക്ഷിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യ

ഇന്ത്യൻ സേനയുടെ സുഖോയ് യുദ്ധവിമാനങ്ങളുമായി മിസൈൽ സംയോജിപ്പിക്കാൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് അധികൃതർ പറഞ്ഞു.

ന്യൂഡൽഹി: ഇന്ത്യൻ വ്യോമസേനയുടെ ഭാഗമായ ആന്‍റി റേഡിയേഷൻ മിസൈൽ രുദ്രം-1 ഇന്ത്യ വിജയകരമായി പരീക്ഷിച്ചതായി അധികൃതർ. തദ്ദേശീയമായി വികസിപ്പിച്ചെടുത്ത ആദ്യ വികിരണ വിരുദ്ധ മിസൈലായ രുദ്രം -1 മിസൈലിന്‍റെ വേഗത ശബ്ദത്തിന്‍റെ വേഗതയേക്കാൾ രണ്ട് ഇരട്ടിയാണ്. ഇന്ത്യൻ സേനയുടെ സുഖോയ് യുദ്ധവിമാനങ്ങളുമായി മിസൈൽ സംയോജിപ്പിക്കാൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് അധികൃതർ പറഞ്ഞു.

രാവിലെ 10.30 ഓടെ ഒഡിഷയിലെ ബാലസൂരിലുള്ള സംയോജിത പരീക്ഷണ ശ്രേണിയിലാണ് മിസൈൽ പരീക്ഷിച്ചതെന്ന് അധികൃതർ അറിയിച്ചു. മിസൈൽ വിജയകരമായി പരീക്ഷിച്ചതിൽ പ്രതിരോധ മന്ത്രി രാജ്‌നാഥ് സിംഗ് പ്രതിരോധ ഡിആർഡിഒയ്ക്ക് അഭിനന്ദനം അറിയിച്ചു.
