ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി : ദേശീയ തലസ്ഥാനത്ത് പൗരത്വ നിയമത്തിനെതിരെയുള്ള പ്രതിഷേധം ശക്തമായി തുടരുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ നിരോധനാജ്ഞ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. നൂറോളം പ്രതിഷേധക്കാരാണ്‌ ജാമിയ മിലിയ സര്‍വകലാശാലയിലെ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികൾ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച പ്രക്ഷോഭ റാലിയില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തത്‌. നിരോധനാജ്ഞ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ ശക്തമായ സുരക്ഷ സംവിധാനങ്ങളാണ്‌ തലസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്‌. ഡിസംബര്‍ 12ന്‌ പൗരത്വ നിയമം പ്രാബല്യത്തില്‍ വന്നതിന് പിന്നാലെ ദേശീയ തലസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഉൾപ്പടെ രാജ്യത്തിന്‍റെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളില്‍ ശക്തമായ പ്രതിഷേധമാണ്‌ നിയമത്തിനെതിരെ നടക്കുന്നത്‌. പൗരത്വ നിയമത്തിനെതിരെ നടന്ന പ്രതിഷേധത്തില്‍ ഇതുവരെ 20 പേരോളം മരിച്ചു. ഉത്തര്‍പ്രദേശില്‍ പല ഭാഗങ്ങളിലും ഇന്‍റര്‍നെറ്റ് സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോഴും വിച്‌ഛേദിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്‌.

Intro:New Delhi: The protest over Citizenship Amendment Act refuses to limber down in the national capital. Hundreds of protesters from all walks of life have gathered today at Mandi House to take part in the protest organised by students of Jamia Milia University and other NGOs.
Body:Anupama who is a teacher and lives in U.P's Bijnor has come to visit her parents in Faridabad. When she learnt about this protest, she could not hold herself and hit the streets to show solidarity with students of Jamia and other universities protesting against CAA.
When asked about the reason of her protest despite government's assurance that this law is not discrimatory against the Muslim minority of the country, she said, "as a citizen it is our responsibility to not agree with everything which government says. We need to look at it critically. This is a discriminatory act. It is our responsibility to question their wrong. I believe this is discriminatory."
Conclusion:She further went on to add that she had 12-year-old daughter and she doesn't want her daughter to grow in a country which discrimates against the Muslims of the country and don't follow its constitution.
The contentious Citizenship Amendment Bill passed both house of Parliament on December 11. After President ascent it became an act on December 12. Since then country has seen nation wide protest against this act.
Nearly, 20 people have died in the anti-CAA protest so far. Maximum deaths have been reported from Uttar Pradesh where protests have turned violent. Internet services are still shut several districts of the state.
