ಕಳೆದ ಬಾರಿ ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ಹರಾಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಮ್ಮಿನ್ಸ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೋಲ್ಕತ್ತಾ ನೈಟ್ ರೈಡರ್ಸ್ (ಕೆಕೆಆರ್) 7.25 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಗೆ ಖರೀದಿಸಿತು. ಆ ವರ್ಷ ಆಡಿದ ಐದು ಪಂದ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಏಳು ವಿಕೆಟ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿ, ಮುಂಬೈ ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ಸ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕೇವಲ 14 ಎಸೆತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 50 ರನ್ ಬಾರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೇ ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಐಪಿಎಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಿರುವುದು ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ಆಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿರಾಸೆ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದೆ.
