ಪಂದ್ಯದ ಬಳಿಕ ಕೊಹ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಜೇತ ತಂಡದ ನಾಯಕ ರೋಹಿತ್ ಶರ್ಮ ಸಹ ಮಹಾ ಪ್ರಮಾದವನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಸದ್ಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟಿಗರು ಸಹ ಅಂಪೈರ್ ಯಡವಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಖಂಡನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಪಂದ್ಯದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಘಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಪೈರಿಂಗ್ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಗಮನಿಸಬೇಕು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಮೂರನೇ ಅಂಪೈರ್ ರಿಪ್ಲೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹಿರಿಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಜಿ ಕ್ರಿಕೆಟಿಗರು ತಮ್ಮ ನಿಲುವು ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಂಪೈರಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಪಕ್ವವಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿಡಿಯೋ ರಿಪ್ಲೇಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಓರ್ವನನ್ನು ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಆತ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಮೈದಾನದ ಅಂಪೈರ್ಗೆ ಇಯರ್ಫೋನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ತಿಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಹೊಸ ನಿಯಮ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವ ಕೂಗು ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಿದೆ.
