ವಾಷಿಂಗ್ಟನ್: ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ವಿಸ್ಕಾನ್ಸಿನ್ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನೆ ಸಂಜೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್‌ಮಸ್ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ಎಸ್ಯುವಿ ಕಾರು (SUV Rams Christmas Parade) ನುಗ್ಗಿದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಐವರು ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 40 ಮಂದಿ ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ವಿಸ್ಕಾನ್ಸಿನ್ ವೌಕೇಶಾ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಅಪಘಾತಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಇದ್ದರು. ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಘಟನೆಯ ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಹರಿದಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಕೆಂಪು ಬಣ್ಣದ ಎಸ್ಯುವಿ ಕಾರು ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಜನರೆಡೆ ನುಗ್ಗುವುದನ್ನು ಕಾಣಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.

12 ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ 40 ಜನರನ್ನು ವಿವಿಧ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕಾರನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಲು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಗುಂಡು ಹಾರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆರೋಪಿ ಚಾಲಕ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ವಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತುದೆ. ವೌಕೇಶಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಇಂದು ಮುಚ್ಚಲಾಗಿದೆ.
