ಪಣಜಿ (ಗೋವಾ): ಫುಟ್ಬಾಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವ ಗೋವಾ ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಗೋವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಯಾಗೋ ಮರಡೋನಾ ಅವರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಗೋವಾ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಚಿವ ಮೈಕೆಲ್ ಲೋಬೊ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ತಮ್ಮ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕರಾವಳಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಯಾಗೋ ಮರಡೋನಾ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಫುಟ್ಬಾಲ್ ದಂತಕಥೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅರ್ಜೆಂಟೀನಾದ ಮಾಜಿ ಫುಟ್ಬಾಲ್ ಆಟಗಾರ ಡಿಯಾಗೋ ಮರಡೋನಾ ತಮ್ಮ 60ನೇ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೃದಯಾಘಾತದಿಂದ ಬುಧವಾರ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕೊನೆಯುಸಿರೆಳೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
