ಪಂಜಾಬ್: ಲಾಕ್ಡೌನ್ ವೇಳೆ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಬೇಕಾದರೆ ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳಿಂದ ಭೀಕರ ದಾಳಿಗೊಳಗಾಗಿ ಮುಂಗೈ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಪಂಜಾಬ್ನ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಇದೀಗ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಗುಣಮುಖರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಡಿಸ್ಚಾರ್ಜ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 12ರಂದು ಬೆಳ್ಳಂಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ಬ್ಯಾರಿಕೇಡ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಾರು ಹತ್ತಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕೆಲ ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳ ಗುಂಪು ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಎಎಸ್ಐ ಹರ್ಜಿತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅವರ ಕೈ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿದ್ದನು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅವರನ್ನ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಬರೋಬ್ಬರಿ 7 ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಶಸ್ತ್ರ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಕೈ ಜೋಡಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದೀಗ ಅವರು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಇದೀಗ ಮನೆಗೆ ತೆರಳಿ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಕಾನ್ಸ್ಟೇಬಲ್ ಆಗಿ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಡಿಜಿಪಿ ದಿನಕರ್ ಗುಪ್ತಾ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದೇ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಅಮರಿಂದರ್ ಸಿಂಗ್, ಎಎಸ್ಐ ಹರ್ಜಿತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಡಿಸ್ಚಾರ್ಜ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ಡಾಕ್ಟರ್ಸ್, ನರ್ಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೂ ನಾನು ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
