ಪೌರತ್ವ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಮಸೂದೆ ಮಂಡನೆ... ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಭಾರಿ ವಿರೋಧ

ಕಳೆದ ವಾರದ ಈ ಮಸೂದೆಗೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಂಪುಟ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಗೀಕಾರ ದೊರೆತಿತ್ತು. ಇಂದು ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಮಸೂದೆ ಮಂಡನೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷ ಭಾರಿ ವಿರೋಧ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.

ನವದೆಹಲಿ: ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ತೀವ್ರ ವಿರೋಧದ ನಡುವೆ ವಿವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಪೌರತ್ವ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಮಸೂದೆಯನ್ನು ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಅಮಿತ್ ಶಾ ಇಂದು ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮಸೂದೆ ಮಂಡಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅಮಿತ್ ಶಾ, ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೂ ಉತ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಯಾರೂ ಸಹ ಸಂಸತ್​ನಿಂದ ಹೊರ ಹೋಗದಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮಸೂದೆಯನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕ ಅಧಿರ್ ರಂಜನ್ ಚೌಧರಿ, ಇದು ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದ ಅಮಿತ್ ಶಾ, ಈ ಮಸೂದೆ .001% ಸಹ ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಇಂತಹ ಮಸೂದೆಯಿಂದ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಎಂದು ಎಐಎಂಐಎಂ ನಾಯಕ ಅಸಾದುದ್ದೀನ್ ಓವೈಸಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಿಡಿಕಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಓವೈಸಿ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಿದ ಸ್ಪೀಕರ್​ ಓಂ ಬಿರ್ಲಾ, ಇಂತಹ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡದಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಏನಿದು ಮಸೂದೆ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ?

ಆರು ದಶಕಗಳಷ್ಟು ಹಳೆಯದಾದ ಪೌರತ್ವ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಗೆ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ತರಲು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿರುವ ಈ ಮಸೂದೆಯಡಿ 2014, ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 31 ಮತ್ತು ಅದಕ್ಕೂ ಮುನ್ನ ಕಿರುಕುಳಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅಫ್ಘಾನಿಸ್ತಾನ, ಬಾಂಗ್ಲಾದೇಶ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನಗಳಿಂದ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಹಿಂದು, ಸಿಖ್, ಬೌದ್ಧ, ಜೈನ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ನಿರಾಶ್ರಿತರನ್ನು ಅಕ್ರಮ ವಲಸಿಗರು ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ವರ್ಷ ವಾಸವಾದ ಬಳಿಕ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಪೌರತ್ವ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
