ಆಂಟಿಗುವಾದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಚೋಕ್ಸಿಯನ್ನ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಏರ್ ಆ್ಯಂಬುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತರುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಆದ್ರೆ ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯದ ನೆಪವೊಡ್ಡಿ ಚೋಕ್ಸಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವ ಅರ್ಜಿ ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮುಂಬೈ ಕೋರ್ಟ್​ಗೆ ಇಡಿ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ

ಮುಂಬೈ: ಪಂಜಾಬ್‌ ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್‌ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್‌ಗೆ (ಪಿಎನ್‌ಬಿ) ₹13 ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ ವಂಚಿಸಿ ವಿದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪರಾರಿಯಾದ ವಜ್ರಾಭರಣ ಉದ್ಯಮಿ/ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಅಪರಾಧಿ ಮೆಹುಲ್‌ ಚೋಕ್ಸಿಯನ್ನ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಏರ್ ಆಂಬುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಕರೆತರಲು ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಜಾರಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನಾಲಯ ಮುಂಬೈ ಕೋರ್ಟ್​ಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.

ವಂಚನೆ ಆರೋಪ ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮೆಹುಲ್ ಚೋಕ್ಸಿ, ಬಾಂಬೆ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್​ಗೆ ಮೇಲ್ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು. 'ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ತಾವು ಎಲ್ಲೂ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರೂ, ಇಡಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ' ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಚೋಕ್ಸಿ ಪರ ವಕೀಲರು. ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಜರಿಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಶಿಫಾರಸು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬರೆದುಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಔಷಧ ಚೀಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೋರ್ಟ್​ಗೆ ಲಗತ್ತಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ತಲೆಮರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಅಪರಾಧಿ (ಎಫ್​ಇಒ) ಕಾಯ್ದೆ 2018ರ ಅನ್ವಯ ಜಾರಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನಾಲಯ ತಮ್ಮ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ತಡೆಹಿಡಿಯಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು.

ಚೋಕ್ಸಿ ಮನವಿಗೆ ಕೌಂಟರ್​ ಅಫಿಡವಿಟ್ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವ ಇಡಿ, ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯದ ನೆಪದಿಂದ ಚೋಕ್ಸಿ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗದೇ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ದಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆಂಟಿಗುವಾದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಚೋಕ್ಸಿಯನ್ನ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಏರ್ ಆ್ಯಂಬುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತಂದು ಸೂಕ್ತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಕೊಡಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಚೋಕ್ಸಿ ಮನವಿಯನ್ನ ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ, ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆತರಲು ಅನುಮತಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
