ಅಸ್ಸಾಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಪ್ರವಾಹಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಝಿರಂಗ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಉಧ್ಯಾನವನ ಶೇಕಡ 95 ರಷ್ಟು ಮುಳುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅಸ್ಸೋಂ: ಕಳೆದ ಹಲವು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಸುರಿದ ಭಾರೀ ಮಳೆಗೆ ಅಸ್ಸೋಂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಅಲ್ಲೋಲ ಕಲ್ಲೋಲವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೆ 15 ಜನ ಬಲಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

4,157 ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳು ಜಲಾವೃತಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, 42.86 ಲಕ್ಷ ಜನ ನೆರೆ ಸಂತ್ರಸ್ಥರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 183 ಗಂಜಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳನ್ನ ತೆರೆಯಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, 83,180 ಜನರನ್ನ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಜಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳಾಂತರ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
