रोहित शर्मा विश्व कप में 1000 रन पूरे करने वाले चौथे भारतीय बल्लेबाज हैं. इससे पहले सचिन तेंदुलकर 45 विश्व कप मैचों में 2278 रन बना चुके हैं. उसके बाद विराट कोहली 28 विश्व कप मैचों में 1115 रन बना चुके हैं और सौरव गांगुली 21 मैचों में 1000 रन पूरे कर चुके हैं
