राजस्थान रॉयल्स के लिए खेलने वाले यशस्वी जायसवाल ने जब कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स के खिलाफ खेले गए मैच में शानदार 98 रनों की पारी खेली और अपने कप्तान के साथ मिलकर टीम को शानदार जीत दिलायी तो हर जगह उनकी इस पारी की चर्चा हुयी. हालांकि वह 2 रनों से वह अपने दूसरे आईपीएल शतक से चूक गए, लेकिन उसके पहले उन्होंने केवल 13 गेंदों में अर्धशतक जमाते हुए सबको अपनी बल्लेबाजी की प्रतिभा का लोहा मनवाया.

यशस्वी जायसवाल की तारीफ करने वालों में वीरेंद्र सहवाग, सुरेश रैना, इरफान पठान, यूसुफ पठान जैसे पुराने खिलाड़ी शामिल थे. वहीं उनकी बल्लेबाजी की तारीफ सूर्यकुमार यादव और विराट कोहली जैसे खिलाड़ियों ने भी की है. इतना ही नहीं अपनी गेंदबाजी से विरोधी टीम को दहशत में लाने वाले गेंदबाज ब्रेट ली ने भी यशस्वी जयसवाल की पारी को सराहा है.

यशस्वी जायसवाल व कप्तान संजू सैमसन की शानदार पारी से राजस्थान रॉयल्स ने प्लेऑफ में पहुंच की संभावनाओं को कायम रखा है. यशस्वी जयसवाल की इस पारी को कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स के अलावा सनराइजर्स हैदराबाद और चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स ने भी सराहा है. विरोधियों के द्वारा भी मिल रही सराहना से खिलाड़ी का हौसला जरूर बढ़ेगा.
