डबलिन: लंबे समय बाद वापसी कर रहे तेज गेंदबाज जसप्रीत बुमराह के शानदार प्रदर्शन के दम पर भारत ने वर्षा-बाधित पहले T20i मैच में आयरलैंड को डकवर्थ लुईस प्रणाली के आधार पर दो रन से हराकर तीन मैचों की श्रृंखला में 1-0 से बढत बना ली। करीब एक साल बाद चोट के बाद टीम में लौटे Jasprit bumrah ने दो विकेट लिये जबकि पहला टी20 मैच खेल रहे प्रसिद्ध कृष्णा ने 32 रन देकर दो विकेट चटकाये. आयरलैंड ने आठवें नंबर के बल्लेबाज बैरी मैकार्थी के नाबाद अर्धशतक की मदद से सात विकेट पर 139 रन बनाये.

मैकार्थी ने 33 गेंद में चार चौकों और चार छक्कों की मदद से 51 रन की नाबाद पारी खेली. भारतीय कप्तान Jasprit bumrah ने टॉस जीतकर पहले गेंदबाजी का फैसला लिया. आयरलैंड ने 11वें ओवर में छह विकेट 59 रन पर गंवा दिये थे लेकिन इसके बाद कुर्टिस कैम्फर (39) और मैकार्थी ने सातवें विकेट के लिये 57 रन की साझेदारी की. मैकार्थी ने अपना पहला अर्धशतक अर्शदीप को आखिरी गेंद पर छक्का लगाकर पूरा किया.
