हांगझोऊ: चीन के हांगझोऊ में चल रहे एशियाई खेलों के पांचवे दिन भारत ने अभी तक संतोषजनक प्रदर्शन किया है. चौथे दिन के खेल खत्म होने तक भारत ने पांच स्वर्ण मेडल के साथ कुल 22 पदक जीते थे. आज भारत ने एक स्वर्ण सहित तीन पदक हासिल कर लिए है. अब आज भारत के तैराकों की चौकड़ी तनिष जॉर्ज मैथ्यू, विशाल ग्रेवाल, आनंद एएस और श्रीहरि नटराज ने फाइनल में प्रवेश कर लिया है. इन्होंने 4x100 मीटर रिले टीम ने फाइनल में प्रवेश के साथ ही राष्ट्रीय रिकॉर्ड भी बनाया है. इन खिलाड़ियों ने फाइनल में 3:21.22 सेकंड के समय में क्वालीफाई किया.

पुरुषों की 4x100 मीटर फ्रीस्टाइल रिले टीम के खिलाड़ियों ने तनीश, श्रीहरि और आनंद की टीम के 3:23.72 सेकेंड के पिछले एनआर को पीछे छोड़ दिया, जो 2019 एशियन एज ग्रुप चैंपियनशिप में पिछले साल राष्ट्रीय रिकॉर्ड बना था. पुरुषों की 4x100 मीटर फ्रीस्टाइल रिले टीम, हीट 2 में तीसरे स्थान पर रही, और स्पर्धां में शामिल चीन, सिंगापुर, जापान, दक्षिण कोरिया के बाद कुल मिलाकर पांचवें स्थान पर रही. भारतीय टीम चीन और जापान के बाद तीसरे स्थान पर रही, जिन्होंने 3:17:17 सेकंड और 3:18:32 सेकंड का समय के साथ खेल को पूरा किया.

भारतीय तैराक श्रीहरि नटराज, लिकिथ सेल्वराज, साजन प्रकाश और तनिष मैथ्यू एशियाई खेलों में पुरुषों की 4x100 मीटर मेडले रिले में पोडियम फिनिश से चूक गए, और पुरुषों की 4x100 मीटर मेडले रिले हीट में 3:40.84 का समय के साथ फाइनल में प्रवेश कर लिया. पुरुषों की 4x100 मीटर फ्रीस्टाइल रिले फाइनल आज शाम 6:18 बजे हांगझोऊ में शुरू होने वाली है.
अब तक भारत के 24 पदक हो चुके हैं जिसमें 6 स्वर्ण पदक है. भारत को उम्मीद है कि आज शाम के मुकाबलों में और भी पदक भारत के नाम हो सकते हैं.
टेबल टेनिस में भारत की हार
राउंड-16 के मुकाबले में सिंगापुर के क्लेरेंस च्यू और झेंग जियान से मनिका बत्रा और साथियान को हार का सामना करना पडा. मैच में भारतीय टीम 2-0 से आगे थी और ऐसा लग रहा था कि क्वार्टरफाइनल में चली जाएगी. लेकिन सिंगापुर के खिलाड़ियों ने अंत में दमदार वापसी की और मुकाबला 13-11, 12-10, 11-3 से जीत लिया
