मैक्सिकों के बार में पांच लोगों की गोली मारकार हत्या कर दी गई. मृतकों में तीन भाई थे. स्थानीय पुलिस मामले की छानबीन करने में जुटी है और यह पता लगाने की कोशिश कर रही है कि गोली क्यों चली.

मैक्सिकः मैक्सिको के दक्षिणपूर्वी क्षेत्र में स्थित एक बार में कुछ लोग जश्न मनाने गए थे लेकिन पल भर में ही उनका जश्न मातम में बदल गया. बार में आए बंदूकधारियों ने पांच लोगों की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी. यह जानकारी अधिकारियों ने दी.

अधिकारियों ने बताया कि यह घटना रात को उस समय हुई जब देश स्वतंत्रता दिवस का जश्न मना रहा था.

तबास्को की खाड़ी तटीय राज्य में अभियोजक कार्यालय ने एक बयान में बताया कि सभी पीड़ित पुरुष थे और इनमें से तीन भाई थे.

राज्य नागरिक सुरक्षा प्राधिकरण ने बताया कि घटना में छह लोग घायल भी हुए हैं इनमें से दो अस्पताल में भर्ती है.

Mexico: 5 shot dead in Tabasco bar amid holiday celebrations
Mexico City, Sep 16 (AP) Gunmen shot dead five people at a bar in southeastern Mexico on the night the country celebrated Independence Day, authorities said Monday.
The prosecutor's office in the Gulf coast state of Tabasco said in a statement that the victims were all adult males, three of them brothers. It added that the attack took place in Rio Tinto, outside the state capital of Villahermosa.
The federal Department of Security and Citizen Protection had said previously that the shootings happened in Villahermosa. The department reported that three people were also wounded.
Prosecutors did not give further details but said they were exploring all lines of investigation.
Mexicans marked the holiday across the country Sunday night with reenactments of the "Cry of Dolores," priest Miguel Hidalgo's 1810 call to arms that launched the war of independence.
In Veracruz, which neighbours Tabasco, a fireworks explosion injured multiple people gathered at the state capital Xalapa's main square.
Video posted by the El Universal newspaper showed the blast apparently originating atop city hall, showering glowing embers onto the plaza.
State civil defence authorities said four people suffered minor burns and two were hospitalized. (AP)
