अहमदाबाद : गुजरात के अहमदाबाद स्थित नरेंद्र मोदी स्टेडियम के लिए गुरुवार एक एतिहासिक दिन बन गया. पहली बार दो देशों के प्रधानमंत्री यहां एक साथ टेस्ट क्रिकेट मैच देखा. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और ऑस्ट्रेलियाई प्रधानमंत्री एंथनी अल्बनीज आज सुबह नरेंद्र मोदी स्टेडियम पहुंचे. जहां एक रंगारंग कार्यक्रम से उनका स्वागत किया गया. होली के गीतों के बीच दोनों देशों के प्रधानमंत्री ने कार्यक्रम का आनंद लिया.

बता दें कि ऑस्ट्रेलियाई प्रधानमंत्री एंथनी अल्बनीज बुधवार को ही अहमदाबाद पहुंच गये थे. अल्बनीज बुधवार को सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल हवाई अड्डे पर उतरे. जहां से उन्होंने बरमती आश्रम का दौरा किया. यह आश्रम महात्मा गांधी से जुड़ा हुआ है. महात्मा गांधी ने 1917 में इस आश्रम की स्थापना की थी. वह मार्च 1930, वर्धा जाने से पहले तक वह यहां रहे. अल्बनीज ने महात्मा गांधी को श्रद्धांजलि दी. उन्होंने कहा कि महात्मा गांधी के मूल्य और दर्शन आज भी सभी को प्रेरणा देते हैं. अल्बनीज ने कहा कि उनके जीवन से काफी कुछ सीखा जा सकता है.
