Asian Para Games 2023: એશિયન પેરા ગેમ્સમાં ભારતની સદી, 2018નો રેકોર્ડ તોડ્યો

પેરા એશિયન ગેમ્સમાં આજે છેલ્લા દિવસે ભારતે 100 મેડલનો આંકડો પાર કરી લીધો છે. પેરા એશિયન ગેમ્સ 2023ના ચોથા દિવસે જ ભારતે જકાર્તામાં આયોજિત પેરા એશિયન ગેમ્સ 2018ના અગાઉના શ્રેષ્ઠ પ્રદર્શનનો રેકોર્ડ તોડ્યો હતો.

હાંગઝોઉઃ પેરા એશિયન ગેમ્સ 2023માં ભારતીય ખેલાડીઓએ શાનદાર પ્રદર્શન કર્યું છે. એશિયન ગેમ્સ 2023ની જેમ ભારતે શનિવારે પેરા એશિયન ગેમ્સમાં 100નો આંકડો પાર કરી લીધો છે. આજે દિલીપ મહાધુ ગાવિતે પુરુષોની 400 મીટર T47 સ્પર્ધામાં ગોલ્ડ મેડલ જીત્યો હતો. તેણે 49.48 સેકન્ડના ઉત્તમ રન ટાઈમ સાથે પ્રતિષ્ઠિત ગોલ્ડ મેડલ જીત્યો છે.

પ્રથમ વખત ભારતીય પેરા ટુકડીએ 100 મેડલ જીતીને પેરા એશિયન ગેમ્સનું અત્યાર સુધીનું સૌથી સફળ અભિયાન બનાવ્યું છે. અત્યાર સુધીમાં ભારતે 26 ગોલ્ડ, 29 સિલ્વર અને 45 બ્રોન્ઝ મેડલ જીત્યા છે. ભારતના પેરા-એથ્લેટ્સે એશિયન ગેમ્સમાં 100-મેડલનો માઇલસ્ટોન પાર કર્યો છે, જે ચાલી રહેલી ચોથી એશિયન પેરા ગેમ્સમાં સિદ્ધિને નોંધપાત્ર બનાવે છે.

PM મોદીએ અભિનંદન પાઠવ્યા: જકાર્તામાં 2018ની પેરા ગેમ્સમાં દેશ માટે સૌથી વધુ મેડલ આવ્યા હતા. જેમાં 15 ગોલ્ડ, 24 સિલ્વર અને 33 બ્રોન્ઝ સહિત 72 મેડલ જીત્યા હતા. વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ પેરા એશિયન ગેમ્સમાં 100 મેડલનો આંકડો પાર કરવા પર ઈન્સ્ટાગ્રામ પર પોસ્ટ કરીને અભિનંદન પાઠવ્યા છે.
