હાંગઝોઉઃ ચીનના હાંગઝોઉમાં ચાલી રહેલી એશિયન ગેમ્સ 2023માં નેપાળ અને મંગોલિયા વચ્ચે પ્રથમ પુરુષ ક્રિકેટ મેચ રમાઈ હતી. બુધવારે એશિયન ગેમ્સમાં નેપાળના બેટ્સમેનોએ પ્રથમ બેટિંગ કરી અને ઘણા T20 રેકોર્ડ બનાવ્યા હતા. આ ઉપરાંત આ ભારતીય ક્રિકેટ ટીમના ઘણા દિગ્ગજ ખેલાડીઓના ઘણા રેકોર્ડ પણ તૂટ્યા છે.
300થી વધુ રન બનાવનારી પ્રથમ ટીમ બની: નેપાળ મંગોલિયા સામેની મેચમાં 300થી વધુ રન બનાવનારી પ્રથમ ટીમ બની ગઈ છે. T20ના ઈતિહાસમાં અત્યાર સુધી કોઈ ટીમ આટલો મોટો સ્કોર બનાવી શકી નથી. મેચમાં, નેપાળના બેટ્સમેનોએ તેમની 20 ઓવરમાં 314/3નો સ્કોર કર્યો, જે 300ને પાર કરનાર પ્રથમ, 2019માં આયર્લેન્ડ સામે અફઘાનિસ્તાનના 278/3ને વટાવી ગયો. તેણે પોતાની ઈનિંગમાં કુલ 26 સિક્સર પણ ફટકારી, તેણે અફઘાનિસ્તાનના 22 સિક્સર અને 14 ફોરના રેકોર્ડને તોડ્યો છે.
