એશિયા કપમાં નવો રેકોર્ડઃ રાહુલ અને વિરાટ વચ્ચે ત્રીજી વિકેટ માટે 233 રનની અણનમ ભાગીદારી થઈ હતી, જે ODI એશિયા કપ માટે નવો રેકોર્ડ છે. પાકિસ્તાન તરફથી શાહીન શાહ આફ્રિદીએ 79 રનમાં એક-એક વિકેટ અને શાદાબ ખાને 71 રનમાં 1 વિકેટ લીધી હતી.
પાકિસ્તાન સામે સૌથી મોટી જીતઃ ભારતે આપેલા 357 રનના ટાર્ગેટના જવાબમાં પાકિસ્તાન 32 ઓવરમાં 128 રનમાં ઓલઆઉટ થઈ ગયું હતું. ભારતે પાકિસ્તાનને 228 રને હરાવ્યું હતું. ભારત તરફથી સ્ટાર સ્પિનર કુલદીપ યાદવે શાનદાર 5 વિકેટ લીધી હતી. આ રીતે ભારતે ODI ક્રિકેટમાં પાકિસ્તાન સામે રનના મામલે સૌથી મોટી જીત નોંધાવી છે.
