મુંબઇ : અભિનેતા શાહિદ કપૂરે શનિવારે જાહેરાત કરી હતી કે, તેની આગામી ફિલ્મ જર્સીનું શૂટિંગ કોરોના વાયરસના કારણે કેન્સલ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. ફિલ્મનું શૂટિંગ લખનઉમાં થઇ રહ્યું હતું. જેને અટકાવી દેવામાં આવ્યું છે.

શાહિદે ટ્વીટ કર્યું કે, "આ સમયે આવા વાયરસના ફેલાવાને રોકવા માટે આપણી સામાજિક જવાબદારી છે કે, આપણાથી બની શકે એટલી આ વાયરસને રોકવાનો પ્રયત્ન કરીએ, તેને કહ્યું કે, 'જવાબદાર બનો સલામત રહો' જેથી દરેક યુનિટ મેમ્બર્સ તેમના ઘરે તેમના પરિવાર સાથે સુરક્ષિત રહી શકે. જેમાં શાહિદ જયારે મુંબઈ પરત ફર્યો ત્યારે એરપોર્ટ પર માસ્ક પહેરીને દેખાયો હતો. તેના હાથમાં સેનિટાઇઝર પણ હતું.
આ ફિલ્મ ગૌતમ તિન્નનૂરી દ્વારા દિગ્દર્શિત, જર્સી એ તેલુગુ હિટ ફિલ્મની હિન્દી રિમેક છે. જર્સી’ ફિલ્મ ક્રિકેટ પર આધારિત છે. ફિલ્મમાં ‘સુપર 30’ અને ‘બાટલા હાઉસ’ ફિલ્મમાં કામ કરી ચૂકેલ મૃણાલ ઠાકુર લીડ રોલમાં છે. આ ફિલ્મમાં પંકજ કપૂર પણ છે. આ ફિલ્મને અલ્લુ અરવિંદ, અમન ગિલ, દિલ રાજુ પ્રોડ્યૂસ કરવાના છે. તેમજ ફિલ્મની રિલીઝ ડેટ 28 ઓગસ્ટ છે.
