‘કોરોના કહેર': WHOના તજજ્ઞોની ટીમ ચીન જવા રવાના

વિશ્વ સ્વાસ્થ્ય સંગઠન (WHO)એ સોમવારે આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય વિશેષજ્ઞોની એક ટીમને ચીન મોકલી છે. ચીનમાં કોરોના વાઇરસથી મૃત્યુઆંક 900ને વટાવી ગયો છે. જે 2003ની સાર્સ મહામારીથી પણ વધુ છે.

જિનેવા: ચીનમાં કોરોના વાઇરસના કહેર વચ્ચે વિશ્વ સ્વાસ્થ્ય સંગઠન (WHO)એ ડૉ. બ્રૂસ આયલવર્ડના નેજા હેઠળ આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય તજજ્ઞોની ટીમને ચીન મોકલી છે.

વિશ્વ સ્વાસ્થ્ય સંગઠનના મહાનિર્દેશક ટેડરોસ અદાનૉમ ગિબેરેસસે આ સંદર્ભે ટ્વીટ કરી માહિતી આપી. ટ્વીટમાં તેમણે લખ્યું કે, હવાઈ માર્ગ થકી તજજ્ઞોની ટીમને ચીન મોકલી આપી છે. જેનું નેતૃત્વ ડૉ. બ્રૂસ આયલવર્ડ કરશે.

વિશ્વ સ્વાસ્થ્ય સંગઠને કોરાના કહેરના કારણે આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય સ્વાસ્થ્ય આપાતકાળ જાહેર કર્યું છે. જીવલેણ કોરોના વાઇરસની ડિસેમ્બરમાં પ્રથમવાર માહિતી મળી હતી. આ વાઇરસથી અત્યાર સુધી 904 લોકોના મૃત્યુ થઈ ગયા છે અને આશરે 40,000 લોકો પ્રભાવિત થયા છે.
