નવી દિલ્હી: નાણાં મંત્રાલયે શુક્રવારે COVID-19 કટોકટી દરમિયાન રાજ્યોને તેમના નાણાંકીય સંસાધનો વધારવા માટે રૂ. 17,287 કરોડ જાહેર કર્યા છે. આ રકમમાંથી 11,092 કરોડ રૂપિયા બધાં રાજ્યોને સ્ટેટ ડિઝાસ્ટર રિસ્પોન્સ મિટિગેશન ફંડ (SDRMF) તરફથી છે.
આંધ્રપ્રદેશ, આસામ, હિમાચલ પ્રદેશ, કેરળ, મણિપુર, મેઘાલય, મિઝોરમ, નાગાલેન્ડ, પંજાબ, સિક્કિમ, તમિલનાડુ, ત્રિપુરા, પશ્ચિમ બંગાળ, ઉત્તરાખંડ અને 14 રાજ્યોને 'પોસ્ટ ડેવોલ્યુશન રેવન્યુ ડેફિસિટ ગ્રાન્ટ' તરીકે 6,195 કરોડની રકમ જાહેર કરવામાં આવી છે.
નાણાં પ્રધાન નિર્મલા સીતારામણે એક ટ્વીટમાં જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ફિનમિન ઇન્ડિયાએ #COVID19 કટોકટી દરમિયાન તેમના નાણાકીય સંસાધનોમાં વધારો કરવા માટે વિવિધ રાજ્યોને આજે કુલ 17,287.08 કરોડ રૂપિયાની ફાળવણી કરી છે.

14 રાજ્યોને કરાયેલી આર્થિક સહાય માટે 15 નાણાપંચની ભલામણો હેઠળ 'મહેસૂલ ખાધ ગ્રાન્ટ' હોવાના કારણે રૂ. 6,195.08 કરોડનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. બાકીના 11,092 કરોડ બધા રાજ્યોને SDRMFના પ્રથમ હપતાના કેન્દ્રીય શેરની અદ્યતન ચુકવણી તરીકે છે. જેમાં મહારાષ્ટ્રને રૂ. 1,611 કરોડ, ઉત્તર પ્રદેશને 966 કરોડ, મધ્યપ્રદેશને 910 કરોડ, બિહારને 708 કરોડ, ઓડિશાને 802 કરોડ, રાજસ્થાનને 740.50 કરોડ અને પશ્ચિમ બંગાળને રૂ. 505.50 કરોડનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.
