મની લૉન્ડ્રિંગ મામલે પી.ચિદમ્બરમને રાહત, કોર્ટે જામીન મંજુર કર્યા

નવી દિલ્હી: INX Media Case મામલે મની લૉન્ડ્રિંગના આરોપી કોંગ્રેસી નેતા અને પૂર્વ નાણાંપ્રધાન પી.ચિદમ્બરમની જામીન અરજી પર કોર્ટમાંથી રાહત મળી છે. જેમાં તેને 2 લાખના અંગત બોન્ડ અને શરતોને આધિન જામીન મંજુર કર્યા છે.

જેલમાં બંધ ચિદમ્બરમે આ ચુકાદાને પડકાર આપ્યો હતો. જેમાં ED એ મનિ લોન્ડરીંગ બાબતે જામીન આપવામાં મનાઇ ફરમાવી હતી. જેને લઇને તે 2 મહીના જેટલો સમય જેલમાં પસાર કર્યો હતો. આખરે 2 મહિના પછી તેને જામીન મળ્યા છે.

CBIએ 21 ઓગષ્ટથી તેની ધરપકડ કરી છે, ત્યારબાદ 15 મે 2017, ના રોજ દાવો કર્યો હતો. જેમાં 2007માં તત્કાલીન નાણાં પ્રધાન પી. ચિદમ્બરમના કાર્યકાળ દરમિયાન વિદેશ રોકાણ સંવદ્ધન બોર્ડ દ્વારા આઈએનએક્સ મીડિયા સમૂહને 305 કરોડ રુપિયા વિદેશ રોકાણ માટે મંજૂરી આપી હતી.
