નવી દિલ્હી: દિલ્હીમાં વધી રહેલા પ્રદૂષણ પર સુપ્રીમ કોર્ટની ફટકાર બાદ કેજરીવાલ સરકાર એક્શન મોડમાં આવી ગઈ છે. બુધવારે દિલ્હીના પર્યાવરણ મંત્રી ગોપાલ રાયે કૃત્રિમ વરસાદને લઈને IIT કાનપુર અને CIIના નિષ્ણાતો સાથે એક મહત્વપૂર્ણ બેઠક યોજી હતી. જેમાં આઈઆઈટી કાનપુરે સરકારને સંપૂર્ણ યોજના સુપરત કરી હતી. એવું કહેવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે કે રાજધાનીમાં 20 નવેમ્બરની આસપાસ પ્રથમ વખત કૃત્રિમ વરસાદ થઈ શકે છે.

કૃત્રિમ વરસાદ થશે: સરકાર શુક્રવારે સુપ્રીમ કોર્ટને કૃત્રિમ વરસાદની માહિતી આપશે. તેમજ દિલ્હી સરકાર કૃત્રિમ વરસાદ કરવા માટે કેન્દ્ર સરકારનો સહયોગ મેળવવા સુપ્રીમ કોર્ટને વિનંતી કરશે. પર્યાવરણ પ્રધાન ગોપાલ રાયે બુધવારે જણાવ્યું હતું કે રાજધાનીમાં વાયુ પ્રદૂષણને પહોંચી વળવાના પ્રયાસરૂપે દિલ્હી સરકાર આ મહિને ક્લાઉડ સીડિંગ દ્વારા કૃત્રિમ વરસાદ પેદા કરવાનો પ્રયાસ કરશે.

રાયે કહ્યું કે અમે IIT કાનપુરના વૈજ્ઞાનિકો સાથે બેઠક કરી. નિષ્ણાંતોએ જણાવ્યું કે વાતાવરણમાં વાદળો કે ભેજ હોય ત્યારે જ ક્લાઉડ સીડિંગનો પ્રયાસ કરી શકાય છે. નિષ્ણાતોના અંદાજ મુજબ 20-21 નવેમ્બરની આસપાસ આવી સ્થિતિ સર્જાઈ શકે છે. અમે વૈજ્ઞાનિકોને આ અંગે એક પ્રસ્તાવ તૈયાર કરવા કહ્યું છે, જે સુપ્રીમ કોર્ટમાં રજૂ કરવામાં આવશે.

એલજીની પોસ્ટને કારણે મૂંઝવણ: આ સાથે જ એલજી વીકે સક્સેનાએ પણ પોતાના સોશિયલ મીડિયા એકાઉન્ટ પર આ મામલે એક પોસ્ટ કરી છે. જેમાં તેઓ નક્કર દરખાસ્તો આપવાની વાત કરી રહ્યા છે. તેમણે લખ્યું, "CII અને IIT, કાનપુરના એક પ્રતિનિધિમંડળે આજે રાજધાનીમાં વાયુ પ્રદૂષણ ઘટાડવા માટે ક્લાઉડ સીડિંગ-કૃત્રિમ વરસાદની સંભાવના પર ચર્ચા કરી. ટેકનિકની અસરકારકતા વિશે પૂછપરછ કરી અને નક્કર દરખાસ્તો આપવા કહ્યું."

કૃત્રિમ વરસાદ શું છે?: ક્લાઉડ સીડિંગ બે રીતે કરવામાં આવે છે, પ્રથમ હાઇગ્રોસ્કોપિક છે, આમાં વાદળોના નીચેના ભાગમાં મીઠું છાંટવામાં આવે છે. બીજું, સ્ટેટિક ક્લાઉડ સીડીંગમાં વાદળો પર સિલ્વર આયોડાઈડ છાંટવામાં આવે છે. આ વાદળોમાં પહેલેથી હાજર ભેજને વધારે છે. આ વાદળોમાં વરસાદ પડવાની ક્ષમતા હોય છે, જેના કારણે વરસાદ પડે છે. જ્યારે વરસાદ થશે ત્યારે વાતાવરણમાં રહેલા પ્રદૂષણના કણો પાણીની સાથે જમીન પર આવી જશે.
