কলকাতা, 16 এপ্রিল : কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের (Calcutta University) মুকুটে নয়া পালক । ওয়ার্লড ইউনিভার্সিটির অ্যাকাডেমিক ব়্যাঙ্কিংয়ে দ্বিতীয় স্থান পেয়েছে কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় । এই সাফল্যে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সকল অধ্যাপক, শিক্ষাকর্মী ও ছাত্রদের শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়েছেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় (Mamata Banerjee) ।
গতকাল একটি টুইটে লেখেন, "ওয়ার্লড ইউনিভার্সিটির অ্যাকাডেমিক ব়্যাঙ্কিং 2021-এ সেরা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলির মধ্যে অন্যতম কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় । এই খবর ভাগ করে নিতে পেরে খুব খুশি । বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধ্যাপক, শিক্ষাকর্মী ও পড়ুয়াদের শুভেচ্ছা । "

কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের তরফে একটি বিজ্ঞপ্তি জারি করা হয়েছে । যেখানে জানা যাচ্ছে, সাংহাই ব়্যাঙ্কিংয়ে দেশের সেরা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলির মধ্যে স্থান করে নিয়েছে কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় । বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে আরও জানানো হয়, দেশের সমস্ত বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এবং ইনস্টিটিউটের মধ্যে, কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় দ্বিতীয় স্থানে রয়েছে । এই সাফল্য এবং আন্তর্জাতিক স্বীকৃতি আমাদের গবেষক, সহকর্মীদের পাশাপাশি আমাদের ছাত্রদের প্রচেষ্টার ফল হিসেবে দেখা উচিত।
