কুলু, 4 জুলাই: কুলুর সাইঞ্জ ভ্যালির জঙ্গলে ভয়াবহ দুর্ঘটনা । রাস্তা থেকে খাদে পড়ে গেল বাস । দুর্ঘটনায় 16 জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে বলে আশঙ্কা করা হচ্ছে । দুর্ঘটনার খবর পেয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে ছুটে আসেন স্থানীয়রা । জানা গিয়েছে, বাসটি সেঞ্জ উপত্যকার শেনশার থেকে সাইঞ্জের দিকে আসছিল । জাংলা নামক গ্রামের কাছে বাসটি নিয়ন্ত্রণ হারিয়ে খাদে পড়ে যায় (Several died in bus accident in Kullu) ।
কুলুর ডিসি আশুতোষ গর্গ জানিয়েছেন, সকাল সাড়ে আটটা নাগাদ বাসটি খাদে পড়ে যায় । খবর পেয়েই ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছয় উদ্ধারকারী দল । আহতদের নিকটবর্তী হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়েছে ।

হিমাচলের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী জয়রাম ঠাকুর জানিয়েছেন, কুলুর সাইঞ্জ উপত্যকায় বেসরকারি বাস দুর্ঘটনার খবর পেয়েছি । প্রশাসনের আধিকারিকেরা ঘটনাস্থলে উপস্থিত রয়েছে । আহতদের হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাওয়া হচ্ছে ।
