ప్రతిష్టాత్మక యాషెస్​లో అద్భుత ప్రదర్శనతో వరుసగా రికార్డులు సృష్టిస్తున్నాడు ఆసీస్​ ఆటగాడు స్టీవ్ ​స్మిత్​. శుక్రవారం జరిగిన మ్యాచ్​లో మరో అర్ధశతకం ఖాతాలో వేసుకున్న ఈ క్రికెటర్​... పాకిస్థాన్​ ఆటగాడు ఇంజమామ్​-ఉల్-​హక్​ పేరిట ఉన్న రికార్డు బ్రేక్​ చేశాడు.

ఆస్ట్రేలియా స్టార్​ క్రికెటర్​​, టెస్టుల్లో నెం.1 బ్యాట్స్​మెన్​ స్టీవ్​ స్మిత్​ మరో ఘనత సాధించాడు. పాకిస్థాన్​ మాజీ క్రికెటర్​ ఇంజమామ్​ ఉల్​ హక్ పేరిట ఉన్న ఒక జట్టుపై అత్యధిక 50+ స్కోర్ల రికార్డును బ్రేక్​ చేశాడు. ఓవల్​ వేదికగా ఇంగ్లాండ్​తో జరిగిన ఐదో టెస్టు రెండో ఇన్నింగ్స్​లో ఈ ఘనత సాధించాడు.

టెస్ట్ క్రికెట్‌లో ఇంగ్లాండ్​పై అత్యధికంగా యాభైకి పైగా స్కోర్లు సాధించిన రికార్డును సాధించాడు స్మిత్. ఇప్పటివరకు ఇంగ్లీష్​ జట్టుపై ఇంజమామ్​ 9 సార్లు 50+ స్కోరు చేశాడు. స్మిత్​ వరుసగా పదిసార్లు ఆ స్కోరు చేసి పాక్​ మాజీ ఆటగాడి రికార్డును బద్దలు గొట్టాడు. 30 ఏళ్ల స్మిత్ ఈ సిరీస్‌లో 751 పరుగులు చేశాడు. ఐదో టెస్టు మొదటి ఇన్నింగ్స్​లో 80 పరుగులు చేశాడు. కొద్దిలో శతకం చేజార్చుకుని ఈ సిరీస్​లో తక్కువ పరుగుల వ్యక్తిగత మార్కును అందుకున్నాడు.

Geocaching has become so popular there are now thought to be more than three million caches hidden in 190 different countries around the world.
For some, the treasure hunt has become an obsession that has taken them across the globe.
STORYLINE:
This may look like your average bush walk, but these people in Canberra are geocaching.
They're using GPS coordinates to track down cleverly hidden caches.
With more than three million caches in 190 countries, geocaching is a scavenger hunt taking in people all over the world.
Across the Australian capital, there are four thousand such treasure troves to be found.
"I mean chances are anywhere in the act there'll be one within a couple of hundred metres," says Geocatcher, Thomas Schulze
They come in all different shapes and sizes - some as small as a button.
Inside each is a log book where the finder can sign their name - the aim is to tick off as many caches as you can before putting the cache carefully back- for the next geocacher to find.
And it's that goal that has pushed Kathleen Hicks out of her comfort zone - even climbing some 80 trees in search of caches.
"I love the challenge, the physical challenge, the mental challenge, the way it gets me out doing lots of things like finding places, exploring new places," she says.
Before catching the geocaching bug, Lisa Kay had never travelled overseas.
She's now been to three different countries in the past 12 months and credits geocaching with keeping her active.
"If you want me to walk up a hill, I probably wouldn't. But you put a cache up there and I'll go. You make it a "first to find", and I'll probably even jog a little," she says.
While some of the caches may be tiny and hard to find, others are elaborate works of art that contain a toy or trinket that children can swap.
"The children can come along with their parents. If you're out and about,  and you can walk about or get about even in a wheelchair, you can geocache," says Schulze.
