మహారాష్ట్ర అవతరణ దినోత్సవం నాడు నక్సలైట్లు ఘాతుకానికి ఒడిగట్టారు. గడ్చిరోలి జిల్లాలో పోలీసులు ప్రయాణిస్తున్న వాహనాన్ని లక్ష్యంగా చేసుకుని ఐఈడీ పేల్చారు. ఈ దాడిలో గడ్చిరోలి సీ-60 దళానికి చెందిన 15 మంది పోలీసు జవాన్లు, ఒక డ్రైవర్ అమరులయ్యారు.
పక్కా ప్రణాళికతో...
గడ్చిరోలి జిల్లా కుర్ఖేడాలో రహదారి నిర్మాణ సంస్థకు చెందిన 27 వాహనాలకు నక్సలైట్లు ఉదయం నిప్పుబెట్టారు. ఈ ఘటన తర్వాత ఆ ప్రాంతంలో భద్రతను కట్టుదిట్టం చేశారు. అదనపు భద్రతా బలగాలను మోహరించారు. అందులో భాగంగా... సీ-60 దళానికి చెందిన కమాండోలు ఆ ప్రాంతానికి వెళ్తుండగా దాడి జరిగింది. జంబోర్ఖేడా, లందారి మధ్య నక్సలైట్లు ఐఈడీ పేల్చారు.
