"Theresa May's deal is 5 to 1 to be voted through parliament today or 1 to 6 to be voted against, so 1 to 6 means if you had six pounds on it, and you won one pound profit. So that shows you how unlikely it is that this deal goes through, just 20 percent chance bookies are giving it to May's deal is cleared through Parliament."

"Also betting on Theresa May's exit date. Just today in the last 24 hours, 70 per cent of bets placed through us, 70 per cent of bets placed through us have been on May to leave this month which shows that maybe there isn't as much support for her as we're seeing quite regularly now and also looking at the past Meaningful Vote as well, the betting activity is way way down compared to the last one maybe showing that people are a little bit bored of the Brexit votes and people aren't quite as engaged in the news as they were a few weeks ago during the first vote."

7. SOUNDBITE (English) George Elek, Oddschecker:

"Punters are still very keen on their being a second vote, we're still seeing majority of bets are going on the second referendum despite the fact that it's the outsider and it's now 5 to 1 that Britain will remain in the EU. This suggests about 20 percent chance that not only is there a second vote but that Remain wins and I think we're seeing now as well, crucially, that if there is if there is a second vote remain will be favourite."
8. Various of leave protesters with red placards reading "Removing no deal is betrayal' and 'Extending Article 50 in betrayal"
9. SOUNDBITE (English) Bob Maclaine, retired Brexit supporter, from Horsham, Sussex:
"Ideally for me, because I think that the withdrawal agreement, quite apart from the backstop, has got a lot of caveats that I don't like. Ideally for me it would be managed WTO (rules) through Clause 24 so that both sides can agree for a certain amount of time just to be as we are. And then we can negotiate a proper agreement for trade. Because what we've got at the moment has been mismanaged right from the start. I'm a great believer in democracy and I don't believe this government has been democratic."

11. SOUNDBITE (English) Jane Keane, Remainer from Romford, Essex:
"I hope that Theresa May's deal will be resoundingly voted down and then that will open the door for the other options, and particularly no deal. I'm really hoping that the MPs find their courage to vote down No Deal so that we cannot exit with all the catastrophic consequences of a No Deal exit from the European Union and then once they've done that I think reality will start to dawn that there is no other option that will pass with a majority in the House and therefore they will have to talk much further and much harder about a people's vote. STORYLINE:
British Prime Minister Theresa May was battling on Monday to stave off a new defeat for her European Union divorce deal, with talks deadlocked a day before Parliament is scheduled to vote on the plan.
The House of Commons is scheduled to vote on Tuesday on whether to approve a deal it resoundingly rejected in January, and there are few signs of a big shift in opinion.
The betting company Oddschecker was predicting a 20 per cent chance of May's deal succeeding, with odds being offered of 5-1.
The company was also offering bets on a second referendum and on May still being prime minister.
"Just today in the last 24 hours, 70 per cent of bets placed through us, 70 per cent of bets placed through us have been on May to leave this month," George Elek of Oddschecker told The Associated Press.
