STORYLINE:
South Korean President Moon Jae-in said he wants to pay his respects to U.S President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un for making unprecedented efforts to overcome a 70-year long distrust.
Moon held a meeting with top aides on Monday and said he expects the second U.S - North Korea summit to be a turning point that advances the efforts to completely denuclearise the Korean peninsula.
President Trump announced last week the second summit with Kim will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam at the end of February.
The two leaders met for the first time in June last year in Singapore.
