తనను భారత్​కు అప్పగించాలన్న బ్రిటన్​ ప్రభుత్వ ఉత్తర్వులపై అక్కడి హైకోర్టులో అప్పీలు చేసుకోనున్నట్లు లిక్కర్​ రారాజు విజయ్​ మాల్యా తెలిపారు. వెస్ట్ మినిస్టర్​ మెజిస్ట్రేట్​ కోర్టు నిర్ణయం అనంతరం అప్పీలుకు అవకాశం లేకపోయిందని అన్నారు.

డిసెంబర్​ 10, 2018 నాడు అక్కడి వెస్టమినిస్టర్​ మెజిస్ట్రేట్​ కోర్టు అప్పగింత ఉత్తర్వులను హోం శాఖకు పంపించింది. అప్పగింత ఒప్పందాల ప్రకారం ఆయన మాత్రమే ఆదేశాలు ఇవ్వటానికి అవకాశం ఉంది. పాక్​ మూలాలున్న హోం మంత్రి సాజిద్​ జావిద్​ ఫిబ్రవరి 3నాడు సంతకం చేశారు. దీనిని ఫిబ్రవరి 4న అధికారుల ధ్రువీకరించారు.
