ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੀਵਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੰਦੀ ਛੋੜ ਦਿਵਸ ਦੀ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਲ ਦਿਵਸ ਦੀ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਹਾਲੀ ਦੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਇਸ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਮਹਾਂਮਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮਹਾਂਮਾਰੀ ਕਦੇ ਘੱਟ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੱਧ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ 'ਚ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਹੁਣ ਫਿਰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵੱਧਣ ਲੱਗ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ 400 ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਸੀ ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਵੱਧ ਕੇ 700 ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਓ, ਪਰ ਬੱਚ ਕੇ ਰਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਸਕ ਪਾਓ, ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਦੂਰੀ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਰਖੋ, ਡਾਕਟਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਿਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰੋਂ।

ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਜਵਾਹਰ ਲਾਲ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਦਿਹਾੜਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਜਵਾਹਰ ਲਾਲ ਨਹਿਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਮਹਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਰਖਣਾ ਸਾਡੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਝੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਝੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਅੰਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਗਰੀਬ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
