ਡੈਮੋਕ੍ਰੇਟ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਜੋਅ ਬਾਇਡਨ ਨੇ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ 'ਚ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਜਿੱਤ ਬਾਇਡਨ ਨੇ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਜਿੱਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਬਾਇਡਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਮਲਾ ਹੈਰਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਤੋਂ ਵਧਾਈ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਮਿਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਭਾਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਰਾਮਨਾਥ ਕੋਵਿੰਦ, ਪੀਐਮ ਮੋਦੀ, ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੋਨੀਆ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸੀਐਮ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਣੇ ਕਈ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਵਾਸ਼ਿੰਗਟਨ/ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ: ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਦੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ 'ਚ ਡੈਮੋਕ੍ਰੇਟਿਕ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਜੋਅ ਬਾਇਡਨ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਿਪਬਲਿਕਨ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਡੋਨਾਲਡ ਟਰੰਪ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਜਿੱਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਜੋਅ ਬਾਈਡਨ ਨੇ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ਗੀ ਤੇ ਕੌੜੀ ਬਿਆਨਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਛੱਡ ਦੇਣ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸਾਥ ਦੇਣ।

ਟਰੰਪ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਤ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਵਾਈਟ ਹਾਊਸ 'ਚ ਥਾਂ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਾਇਡਨ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ 'ਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਾਇਡਨ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਦੋਂ ਟਰੰਪ ਵਰਜੀਨੀਆ 'ਚ ਗੋਲਫ ਖੇਡ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।

ਸਾਲ 1992 'ਚ ਜਾਰਜ ਐਚ ਡਬਲਯੂ ਬੁਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਟਰੰਪ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਸਨ, ਜੋ ਮੁੜ ਤੋਂ ਚੋਣ ਲੜਨ 'ਤੇ ਫੇਲ ਰਹੇ।
